2000 approx, Meet members of the Orkney RNA at Kirkwall and Stromness Royal British Legions for drinks and dits!

Saturday 22nd May

2000 approx, Buffet dinner & dance at Kirkwall Legion, live music provided by 'scapa sound' and the Stromness pipe band.

Sunday 23rd May

1330 approx, Dedication of our new Standard to take place at St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall.

retire to the RBL afterwards for refreshments!!

Accomodation

Orkney is a popular tourist destination and gets very busy at this time of year, I cannot stress how important it will be to book your accomodation well in advance. I have provided two links to accommodation websites below. There are many more available!

Travel

there are three main ferry services to the Orkney Islands, one sails from Aberdeen and the other two sail from the north of Scotland, details are available at the following websites. There is also a foot only ferry service available from John O'Groats, and of course you can fly to Kirkwall airport.
